Student Protest: Recently there was incident of indirect fee collection from Telangana and AP students. Students are bored with this.
Management boards of corporate and private schools are collecting fees from students indirectly and they have called for school shutdown to stop this illegal fee collection.
Furthermore, the ABVP demanded that full recruitment of teachers should be made to teach students in government schools. The Left Students’ Union has called for closure of schools and colleges on July 12 due to the neglect of education issues by the Telangana government.
The leaders, who met under the aegis of Left student org.zations at the AISF office in Hyderabad, criticized the government for completely ignoring the welfare of the education sector.
He accused CM KCR of neglecting the education sector even after the formation of Telangana. He accused the Telangana government of neglecting the students by not allocating funds for education in the Telangana budget.
He demanded that the government solve the above problems. To this extent, schools and colleges in Telangana should be kept closed on 12th July.
