Ajmer, 27 November (HS). As a result of the recommendation of Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Ajmer MP Bhagirath Chaudhary, the stoppage of Ajmer-Chandigarh Vande Bharat Express (20977/20978) has now been approved at Kishangarh Railway Station. Under the instructions issued by the Railway Board, this decision has been taken keeping in mind the regional development and passenger facilities.

Union Minister of State for Agriculture and local MP Bhagirath Choudhary described this achievement as the result of his commitment towards the cooperation and development of Kishangarh’s entrepreneurs, local citizens and area residents. He said that first the dream of extending this train from Jaipur to Ajmer has come true and now with the approval of Kishangarh stop, entrepreneurs of marble industry and common citizens will directly benefit.

Union Minister of State for Agriculture Bhagirath Chaudhary said that this stoppage was possible as a result of the long-standing demands of the area residents and the insistence of local entrepreneurs and intelligentsia under the leadership of entrepreneur and social worker Ashok Patni. He said that I am proud to say that with this decision, not only the citizens of Kishangarh but also the marble businessmen will get the facility of traveling in the state-of-the-art Vande Bharat train.

Union Minister and local MP Chaudhary also said that he is continuously making efforts for the stoppage of other important trains at Bijaynagar and Bandanwada railway stations of Ajmer parliamentary constituency. He assured that soon necessary instructions will be issued by the Railway Ministry regarding stopping of trains at these stations.

Union Minister of State for Agriculture Bhagirath Choudhary said that the operation of Vande Bharat trains in India is mostly limited to the capital cities, but he succeeded in extending this train to Ajmer by holding special talks with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. This is the country’s first Vande Bharat Express which is operating from the state capital Jaipur as well as Ajmer. Bhagirath Chaudhary said that this stop will not only prove to be a milestone in the development of Kishangarh region but will also provide new heights to tourism, industry and business.
