The Indian stock market opened with a strong gain on Tuesday (April 8) amidst a boom in Asian markets. There is a strong recovery in the market due to a strong gain in veteran shares like Infosys, Reliance Industries and Bharti Airtel, HDFC Bank and L&T. Then at 3.30 pm on Tuesday, the stock market closed in green mark. The Sensex rose by 1,089 points to close at 74,273, while the Nifty rose 374 points to close at 22,535.85.

 

What was the situation on Monday?

In the last trading session, the local stock market closed with the biggest fall after June 4, 2024. The 30 -share BSE Sensex closed down 2226.79 points or 2.95% to close at 73,137.90. Similarly, NSE’s Nifty-50 also closed down 742.85 points or 3.24% on Monday at 22,161.60.

US President Donald Trump on Monday raised pressure on China and asked the dragon to withdraw mutual fees. According to recent reports, China is planning to stand firmly against Trump’s strategy.

Waiting for RBI’s decision on interest rates

Apart from the activities of the global market, investors are waiting for the decision of the Monetary Policy Committee of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to be held tomorrow. Investors are also eyeing the results of the fourth quarter of Indian companies and the large economic data released this week.
