State -of -the -art bus stand is going to be built in Alwar, Rajasthan, bus services will be on 500 routes

The plan to create a new and state -of -the -art main bus stand in Alwar district of Rajasthan is moving fast. This bus stand will be developed on about 8 hectares of land near Hanuman Circle. On completion of this project, buses will be operated on more than 500 routes for different parts of the country from here, which will improve the traffic system and connectivity.

Land acquisition process is going on

• Out of the proposed land, 4.95 hectares of area belongs to the Devasthan Department.

• ₹ 7.30 crore will be paid to transfer this land.

• Apart from this, 3 hectares of land is from farmers, from whom UIT will acquire compensation.

• Some farmers agree to the acquisition and the rest continues to be negotiated.

Budget gets approval from government

• The state government has approved a budget of ₹ 60 crore for this project.

• Officials aim to start construction work before the next budget.

• The files have been sent to the Jaipur -based Transport Corporation and the final approval is awaited from there.

• Total Route: 371

• Alwar-Jaipur: 99 buses

• Alwar-Delhi: 20 buses

• Alwar-Rajgarh: 45 buses

• Alwar-Kishangarh: 82 buses

• Alwar-Bahrod: 98 buses

• Alwar-Bharatpur/Agra: 27 buses

With the formation of new bus stand, the parking capacity of buses will increase, new bus services will be added and passengers will get better facilities.
