Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), part of Delhi University, has successfully concluded its 2023-24 placement season, achieving remarkable results in both job offers and internship stipends. This year, the college received over 500 job offers from more than 135 companies across 15 different sectors, reflecting its strong connections with the industry and the growing demand for its students.

The highest salary package reached Rs 35 lakh per annum, while the average package stood at Rs 8.63 lakh per annum, with a median salary of Rs 7.15 lakh. The total value of all job offers during the season amounted to Rs 43.42 crore.

Further, students in the top 10% secured an average annual package of Rs 19.62 lakh, those in the top 20% earned Rs 17.01 lakh, and the top 30% received Rs 15.06 lakh.

Significant Growth in Internships

Internship opportunities also experienced substantial growth this year. The highest stipend increased by 67% to Rs 3.67 lakh per month, while the average stipend rose by an impressive 122% to Rs 40,000 per month. The overall value of internships skyrocketed by 99%, with more than 115 offers made.

Key Recruiters

The placement drive attracted top-tier companies from various industries. Major recruiters included renowned firms such as McKinsey & Company, Bain & Company, Microsoft, Google, Deloitte, and Hindustan Unilever Limited. Financial institutions like Deutsche Bank, Nomura, and Bank of America, along with consulting firms such as BCG and Kearney, also participated in the recruitment process.

The gender distribution among students was fairly balanced, with a ratio of 46% men to 54% women. Notably, 10% of the student cohort was from BA (Hons) Economics, while a significant 80% came from BCom (Hons).

Overall, SRCC’s recent placement season highlights the college’s enduring reputation for academic excellence and professional preparedness. With exceptional offers and prestigious recruiters, SRCC continues to set high standards in the placement arena.
