Batting first, VMP posted a mammoth total of 227/3 in 20 overs, powered by a sensational knock from Keyur Kulkarni, who smashed 68 runs off 39 balls. He was well-supported by S. Natvani with a fluent 53 off 37 balls and R. Vasvani, who lit up the innings with a fiery 45 off just 20 deliveries.
In reply, Nashik Titans crumbled under pressure and were bowled out for just 101 in 15.1 overs. D. Patel starred with the ball, claiming four wickets for just 12 runs in his four-over spell, while S. Natvani capped off a brilliant all-round performance by taking three wickets in two overs.
TFC outclassed MSDIAN Strikers by a massive 159 runs, posting a mammoth total of 282/3 in 20 overs. The star of the match was Tanay Sanghavi, who hammered an explosive 104 off just 34 balls. He was well supported by B. Kataria with 68 off 42 balls and R. Purohit, who added a fiery 42 in just 15 deliveries. Defending the target, TFC bowlers maintained tight control, with K. Loongs scored 116/9 in 20 overs and then restricted Hoppers to 80 all-out in 16.2 overs. The standout performer and Man of the Match was Prasoon Prasad, who delivered a game-changing bowling spell, taking four wickets in 3.2 overs while conceding just 17 runs.
He was well supported by Gokul Rajan, who chipped in with two wickets for 16 runs in his two-over spell. With the bat, Sanchan P Shaju and Anandhu K B provided crucial contributions, scoring 18 runs each.
Prathibha CC Kollam delivered a commanding performance to defeat Sporting Chattanchal by 81 runs, posting an imposing total of 194/7 in 20 overs. POD Squad chased down a massive target to defeat SK & Viral’s Ninjas by eight wickets with just five balls to spare in the CCI – Members Premier League at Brabourne Stadium on Friday.
Chasing 208, the star of the show was Hrishikesh Shende, who was named Player of the Match for his spectacular unbeaten century scoring 108 runs off 62 balls, including 14 fours at a strike rate of 174. He was well supported by S. Nalilkrishanan, who contributed 49 off 33 balls with 6 boundaries and a six. Earlier, SK & Viral’s Ninjas posted a challenging 207/3 in their 20 overs, but POD’s composed and aggressive batting display proved too strong. In bowling, M. Shah and A.
