JBCC NIFAD emerged victorious by 13 runs against TFC in a closely contested match of the Krushnamai Premier League (KPL) in Nashik on Saturday. Batting first, JBCC NIFAD posted 135/6 in 20 overs, with Dipak Hiwale top-scoring with 38 runs off 39 balls. He was supported by Ganesh Dulakche, who contributed 26 runs off 37 balls.

In reply, TFC managed 122/9 in 20 overs, with Sagar Gajare and Suyash Rayte being the standout bowlers for JBCC NIFAD. Gajare claimed three wickets for just 12 runs, while Rayte also took three wickets for 36 runs in 4 overs.

TFC put up a strong performance, defeating SSK Titans by 25 runs in another match. Batting first, TFC posted 152/6 in 20 overs, led by Abhijeet Wadsal, who scored 49 runs off 33 balls. He was well supported by Siddharth Rikame, who contributed 38 runs off 28 balls.

In reply, SSK Titans managed 127/7 in 20 overs, as TFC’s bowlers kept them under pressure. Siddharth Raut was the standout bowler, taking three wickets for 33 runs in 4 overs.

Griffin register 10-wicket win

Griffin Cricket Academy cruised to a 10-wicket victory over Gavali Bandhu Avengers in the Late Kishor Suryawanshi (LKS) Trophy in Nashik on Saturday. Rudraksh Malviya smashed 101 runs off 51 balls, including 11 fours and six sixes. Chasing 142, he was well supported by Balaji Mathure, who played a steady knock of 23 runs off 34 balls.

Earlier, Griffin’s bowlers restricted Gavali Bandhu Avengers to 141/6 in 20 overs, with Nishant Pagare leading the attack, taking three wickets for 29 runs, while Dhawal Patil impressed with two wickets for just 14 runs in 4 overs. Griffin chased down the target comfortably in 14.1 overs, sealing an emphatic win.

In another encounter, Meri Cricket Club Green clinched a eight-wicket victory over Dwarka CA, successfully chasing 120 runs in 19.2 overs. Rahul Bagade delivered a stellar all-round performance, taking four wickets for 21 runs and scoring run a ball 36 runs. He was well supported by Gopinath Jadhav, who smashed 38 runs off 25 balls, while Yash Pagar contributed 32 runs off 52 balls. In the bowling attack, Hardik Bhat took three wickets for just 15 runs, and Abhiraj Neharkar chipped in with two wickets for 19 runs in 3 overs.

Their combined efforts ensured a dominant win for Meri Cricket Club Green.
