NSG too hot for Meri Green
NSG showcased a commanding performance, securing a comprehensive eight-wicket victory over Meri Cricket Club Green in the Summer League T20 cricket tournament in Nashik on Friday. Chasing a modest target of 97, Shreyash Bhor led the charge with a blistering knock of 41 off 23 balls, striking eight fours. He was supported by S. Sharma, who contributed a steady 29 off 42 balls.
Earlier, Meri Cricket Club Green struggled against NSG’s disciplined bowling attack, with T. Sanap shining with figures of 3/20 in four overs, while P. Mahale bowled economically, taking 1/13 in four overs. NSG chased down the target comfortably in 13 overs, finishing at 97/2.
The Nashik Titans showcased a commanding performance, defeating the Game Changers by 78 runs in a thrilling encounter. Batting first, the Titans posted an imposing total of 225/5 in 20 overs, powered by a sensational century from Sagar Pandey, who smashed 101 runs off 50 balls, including nine fours and seven sixes. He was well-supported by D. Datir, who scored 40 off 26 balls and J. Mahale, who contributed 35 runs off 19 balls.

Mumbai Shahar (West) proved too strong for Dharashiv, winning 52-19, while Mumbai Shahar Purvaa edged out Chatrapati Sambhaji Nagar in a close 39-34 battle. Pune Gramin displayed great composure to beat Beed 38-21.
In the women’s category, Thane Shahar dominated Nashik Gramin 50-21, and Nanded registered an emphatic 54-19 win over Sindhudurg. Thane Gramin narrowly defeated Satara 44-40, while Nandurbar outplayed Latur Jilha 48-10. Mumbai West crushed Jalgaon 58-8, and Pimpri Chinchwad showcased their strength with a 54-19 victory over Nashik Shahar.

Mumbai City FC edged Kalina Rangers-CFF 2-1 in the Mumbai Premier League match on Friday.
