Indian Arrows Women Juniors began their campaign in the Indian Women’s League 2 (2024–25) Final Round with an impressive 2-0 win over Roots Football Club at Dular Stadium, Mapusa, Goa on Friday. Indian Arrows dominated key moments despite both sides registering six shots on target each. While the first half ended goalless after two minutes of added time, Indian Arrows broke the deadlock in the second half and maintained their lead until the final whistle, with three minutes of stoppage time added.
Indian Arrows were far more clinical in front of goal, creating six chances compared to just one from Roots FC. They also showed slightly more intensity in defense with 15 tackles against Roots’ 13.
