Dwarka CA defeated Griffin Cricket Academy by 65 runs to enter into finals of the Late Kishor Suryawanshi (LKS) Trophy in Nahsik on Friday.

Anand Vishwakarma’s unbeaten 157 off 82 balls powered Dwarka CA to a commanding 233/1 in 20 overs. Vishwakarma dominated the bowling attack, while Sneh Natwani provided steady support with 40 off 28 balls.

Griffin CA’s bowlers struggled, with Kiran Sanap conceding 46 runs in 3.4 overs and Vedant Purkar giving away 36 runs in four overs.

Chasing 234, Griffin CA’s batting fell short, managing only 168 in 18.4 overs. Vedant Pawar led the fight with 64 off 35 balls, but lacked support. Saiprasad Varade (30 off 15) and Rudraksh Malviya (24 off 13) made quick contributions, but wickets fell at regular intervals.

Rohit Purohit took four wickets while Smith Nathwani and Sidharth Mankar picked two wickets apiece.

LKS Trophy semifinal

In the second semifinal CBC Cricket Club held their nerve in a tense chase to defeat Gavali Bandhu Avengers by three wickets, securing their spot in the LKS Trophy final.

Batting first, Gavali Bandhu Avengers posted a competitive total of 145/7, led by Siddharth Landage’s 50 off 34 balls. Bunty Gavali (24 off 34) and Keshav Dhage (20 off 7) chipped in, but the team struggled to accelerate in the later overs.

CBC’s bowlers kept the scoring in check, with Rupesh Tajanpure (2/10 in 2 overs) and Harshal Khandre (2/7 in 1 over) making early breakthroughs.

Chasing 146, CBC Cricket Club built a solid foundation with Harshal Nikale’s 57 off 44 balls. Rohit Ingle (33 off 20) played a crucial hand.

Gavali Bandhu Avengers fought back with Siddharth Landage (3/26 in 3.3 overs) leading the charge, but CBC kept their cool to win with 9 balls to spare. Aryan Chavan (21 off 14) ensured a composed finish.

ANY Sports dominate in Delhi Divisional Cup

A ruthless bowling display followed by a flawless chase saw Any Sports CA storm to a 10- wicket victory over Future Sports Club in Match 7 of the Delhi Divisional Cup. Future Sports Club crumbled for just 53 runs. The only resistance came from Mukesh (21) and Sumer (12), who tried to stabilize the innings but received no support from the rest of the lineup. The bowlers of Any Sports CA ran riot, dismantling Future Sports Club with clinical accuracy and disciplined bowling.

Siddhant Bansal was the pick of the bowlers, finishing with outstanding figures of three wickets for just five runs in 4 overs. Arun Kumar (3-11), Rajat Kharkhandia (3-10), and Lakshya Bisht (1-1) also contributed significantly, ensuring there was no respite for the opposition.

Chasing a meager target of 54, Any Sports CA’s openers made light work of the chase, reaching the target without losing a single wicket.

The aggressive Yash Bazad led the charge, smashing 43 off just 19 balls, including some dominant stroke play. Vian Rana (9 off 5) played a supporting role as Any Sports CA comfortably sealed the win in just 15.2 overs.

Any Sports CA continued their dominant run in the Delhi Divisional Cup, securing a convincing 62-run victory over M10 CA. Led by Lakshya Bisht’s explosive 66 off 42 balls, Any Sports CA posted a massive 194/8 in 18.5 overs before bowling out M10 CA for 132 in 20 overs. With this win, Any Sports CA strengthened their position as one of the most formidable teams in the tournament.

Lakshya Bisht (66 off 42) anchored the innings with a mix of aggression and composure. Ayush Tyagi (57 off 37) played the perfect support role, keeping the scoreboard ticking. Vian Rana (25 off 12) provided late fireworks, pushing the total close to 200.

Despite losing eight wickets, their high scoring rate and partnerships ensured they put up a formidable target. Nikunj Nikunj took three wickets while Rachit Rachit scalped two.

Chasing a daunting 195-run target, M10 CA started strong but couldn’t sustain the required momentum as Any Sports CA’s bowlers dismantled their batting lineup. Ekant Ekant (53 off 41) fought valiantly but lacked support. Aditya Bhatia (29 off 24) tried to build a partnership but couldn’t keep up with the increasing required run rate. M10 CA were eventually bowled out for 132 in 20 overs, falling 62 runs short of the target.
