The host team has made a strong start in the second and last match of the Test series between touring Pakistan and South Africa. Opener Ryan Rickleton and team captain Temba Bavuma took the hosts to 268 runs for 3 wickets in 66 overs in the first innings.
Rickleton was unbeaten on 152 runs while Bavu, who was close to his century at the time of writing, was unbeaten on 89 runs. Earlier, South African captain Temba Bavuma won the toss and decided to bat first. On the team’s total of 61, opener Markram was out on a personal score of 17 runs, after which Mulder’s second wicket fell on the score of 70. With two more runs added to the team’s score, Tristan Stubbs was also out. After which captain Bavuma and Rickalton took over the batting of the host team and took the score to 268 runs. Rickalton batted brilliantly and hit 19 fours and one six.
