Opener Hasan Nawaz scored the fastest century for his country, making Pakistan defeated New Zealand by nine wickets with 24 balls remaining in the third T20 International match.
In response to New Zealand’s 204 runs, Pakistan won the match by scoring 207 runs at the loss of one wicket in 16 overs. New Zealand is ahead 2–1 in the five-match series. Player of the Match, Nawaz scored an unbeaten 105 off 45 balls with the help of 10 fours and seven sixes and made a 133 -run partnership of 133 runs off 61 balls for the second wicket with Salman Aga (51). The highest score in New Zealand’s innings was by Mark Chapman, who missed a century by six runs. He scored 94 runs off 44 balls with the help of 11 fours and four sixes, while captain Bracewell contributed 31 runs. For Pakistan, Harris Rauf took the most three wickets for 29 runs. Nawaz also became the first Pakistani player to score a century on New Zealand soil in the T20 format. Babar Azam ranks second in the fastest T20 centuries list for Pakistan, who scored a century against South Africa in 2021 against South Africa.
