Brazilian Kishore Joao Fonseca has become the 10th youngest champion in the history of ATP Tour.

 

He achieved this feat by defeating local player Francisco Serundolo in the final of the Argentina Open ATP tennis tournament. Joao, who ranked 99th in the world and playing in his first tour-level final, reached the tiebreaker of the second set and defeated his 28th place rival 6-4, 7-6 (7-1). Joao 2024 ATP has become the youngest male player in South America to become Nextgen Champion. It will reach 68th position in the new rankings. This exciting final match was played for two hours 54 minutes. Joao impressed everyone by defeating four Argentine players while reaching the finals. He created a sensation by defeating top-10 seed Andrei Rublev in the first round of the Australian Open in January.
