The boxing game has been officially included in the Los Angeles Olympic Games to be held in 2028. During the 144th session of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), all the members voted in favor of boxing.
When IOC President Thomas Bak asked the members to raise their hands in favor of involveing boxing in the Los Angeles Games, all the members formally agreed. All members were present for voting and not a single member voted against boxing. The IOC did not include boxing in the 2028 Olympic program during its meeting held in February 2022. At that time there were disputes in the International Boxing Association. After this he was also suspended. Boxing competitions at Tokyo and Paris Olympics were organized under the supervision of a special IOC Task Force.
