World number one female tennis player Aryana Sabalenka won the first Miami Open title of her career by defeating Jessica Pegu of US 7-5, 6-2 in straight sets.
Sabalanka won its second title of 2025 with a win in the final of the WTA 1000 event played at the Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday. Earlier, she won the Brisbane Open in January. With this victory, Aryana won her eighth WTA 1000 title. Aryana, who recently lost her determination in the match and did not let the mistakes of the Indian Wells finals repeat the mistakes of the Indian Wells final in the Indian Wales final.
Praising Jessica Pegula’s performance after the match, Sabalanka said, “I am very happy to win the trophy and I was able to show my best game in the final.” In the first set of the match, there were seven service breaks between the two players.
