The incident occurred on the Anjurphata-Dapoda road in Bhiwandi, within the jurisdiction of the Narpoli Police Station, between 12:50 and 1:35 AM on Monday. According to the police, Karn was riding a motorcycle, and his two friends were riding pillion. They had left home to celebrate a friend’s birthday and met with an accident on their way back.

My father called him at around 11:30 PM, and he said he was sitting down for dinner and would leave in a few minutes. After an hour passed, I called him again, but his phone was switched off. Eventually, Guddu informed us that they had met with an accident.”
