A constable miraculously escaped death when he spotted a speeding car heading toward him milliseconds before it struck his colleague, sending him flying into the air and killing him on the spot in the Gandhari area of Telangana’s Kamareddy district. CCTV footage captured the chilling moment when the car struck the constables.
According to reports, the two constables were on duty when the incident took place. One constable died on the spot, while the other sustained injuries. Upon being informed about the incident, police immediately reached the scene and transported the injured constable to the hospital for treatment. The deceased constable’s body was shifted to a government hospital for a post-mortem examination. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
Last night, two constables named Ravikumar and Subhash were on patrol duty. They had stopped their motorcycle on the side of the road when a car came speeding toward them. Seeing the vehicle approaching at high speed, Subhash managed to jump aside quickly. However, before Ravikumar could escape, the car struck him with great force. The impact sent the constable and his motorcycle flying through the air. Ravikumar, who was severely injured, died on the spot. Subhash escaped with minor injuries as he managed to move away just in time.
Several suspicions have been raised about this road accident. The fact that the car drove directly toward where the constables were standing has sparked questions about the incident. The car has been identified as belonging to a local resident. The owner has been identified and taken into custody for investigation.
Both Ravikumar and Subhash were part of the “Blue Coats” police force, a special team responsible for patrolling and surveillance duties. The accident occurred while they were conducting patrol and had stopped by the roadside.
