Varanasi, 23 November (HS). An uncontrolled auto collided with an electric pole and overturned near Tilmapur Rangeela Das Pokhara in Sarnath police station area. The father and son traveling in the auto died in the accident. There was chaos among the family members as soon as they got information about the accident which happened late on Friday night. The police reached the spot and took the body into custody.
Sitaram (60), a resident of Dinapur village, had gone to Rajatalab with his son Sunil Kumar (30), Goli and Babi to participate in the auspicious program of relatives. Late at night everyone was returning home by auto. As soon as the auto reached near Rangildas Pokhara located in Tilmapur, the driver lost control of the vehicle. The speeding auto collided with the electric pole located in front. Sitaram and Sunil Kumar, who were sitting in the front, died due to serious head injuries in the accident. After getting information about the accident, family members also reached the police. On Saturday, the police took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem.
