Lucknow: A shocking video of a speeding SUV dragging a scooter after a collision is making rounds on the internet. In the video the car can be seen emitting spark.
The incident reportedly took place on Sunday and the person driving the car is identified as Varanasi resident engineer Brajesh Singh. The incident, reportedly took place near Lulu mall in Lucknow.
After the collision with the scooter, the siblings on the scooty flung into the air due to the impact of the crash.The duo suffered minor injuries.
The scooter got stuck under the wheels of SUV and dragged along the vehicle for 11 kilometers. Reportedly, the police has arrested the accused engineer.
Hazratganj resident Manish Singh, who is a private sector employee was going to Telibagh with his sister Tanu on the scooter when the accident took place near Lulu mall in Lucknow.
Reports suggest many passersby vehicles narrowly escaped being hit by the SUV.The police tried to stop the speeding vehicle but Brajesh did not stop.
After about 11 kilometers, the accused reached Transport Nagar. Here, Sarojini Nagar police had put up barricades to catch the accused.
According to Additional Inspector Balram Singh, a case has been registered on Manish’s complaint and the accused has been sent to jail.
The accused works in Ghaziabad. He was going to duty at the time of the incident.
