Ludhiana judicial magistrate Ramanpreet Kaur has issued an arrest warrant against Bollywood actor Sonu Sood. Actor Sonu Sood, who is famous on social media and his strong characters in films, is caught in legal controversies. Recently, a Ludhiana court issued an arrest warrant against the actor. The step was taken when Sonu Sood did not appear in court to testify in a fraud case. The case is related to Ludhiana’s lawyer Rajesh Khanna, who accused of cheating. Now the court has ordered the actor to appear in court by 10 February.
Arrest warrant issued against actor
The arrest warrant against Sonu has been sent to Oshiwara police station in Mumbai. The police has been directed to arrest the actor and produce in court. The court said in its comment, ‘Sonu Sood was summoned, but he refused to testify. Therefore, he should be arrested and produced in court.
Witness was to be testified in a case of fraud
The case is related to fraud allegations against Ludhiana’s lawyer Rajesh Khanna. Khanna alleged that a person named Mohit Shukla had cheated him for Rs 10 lakh. According to Khanna, he was cheated to invest in fake ‘Rizika Coins’ and Sonu Sood was to testify in the matter. After this allegation, a summons was sent to Sonu Sood, but he did not appear in court for hearing.
Next hearing on 10 February
So far there has been no response from Sonu Sood and his legal team on the matter. However, the next hearing has been scheduled on 10 February and the actor has been ordered to appear in court on this day. If Sonu Sood does not appear in court that day, then his arrest is possible.
