Actor Sonu Sood helped many people during the lockdown imposed during Corona in the year 2020. Be it a matter of returning to one’s hometown or providing treatment. Sonu Sood was very helpful. People call him Messiah. Even today, a crowd of people seeking help can be seen outside his house. Recently the actor has made an important revelation about entering politics.
What does Sonu say about coming into politics?
While talking to Humans of Bombay, Sonu Sood talked about entering politics. He claimed that he has received very good offers to join politics. That means there was an offer to give a seat in Rajya Sabha also. But the actor rejected this offer also. The reason behind this has been explained. It is noteworthy that when Sonu Sood was promoting his film Fateh, he was asked a question about entering politics. In response to which he said that I had received the offer to become CM. When I refused, I was asked to become the day CM. They were all very big people. He also offered me a Rajya Sabha seat.
I also got an offer from Rajya Sabha
Sonu Sood further said, I was asked to take membership of Rajya Sabha and join us. What is the need to enter politics, what is the need to fight. In such a situation, it feels good when big people want to meet you and you want to do something in the world. Regarding this offer, Sonu Sood further said that with this you start getting popularity and you start moving forward in life. But the higher you go, the lower the oxygen level. It’s natural that we want to move forward but how long can we stay there? Many people told me that big actors of the industry dream of getting such an offer and you are refusing.
Why don’t you want to enter politics?
Sonu Sood also gave the reason for not coming into politics. He said that people come into politics for two reasons, either to earn money or for power. And I’m not interested in any of that. If it’s about helping people, I’m already doing it. Now I don’t need to ask anyone for help. I help without caste, religion or discrimination. But after joining politics, I will have to answer to someone and I fear that my freedom will be taken away.
