The makers of “Kuladalli Kealyavudo” issued a press note saying that the behavior of Sonu Nigam has hurt the sentiments of the Kannada community. The makers said, “We have no doubt on the talent of Sonu Nigam, but the insult of the Kannada people in the concert is not acceptable. That is why it has been decided to remove his song from the film.”

After removing the song of Sonu Nigam, Kannada singer Chetan will record this song. Apart from this, the makers have made it clear that they will not cooperate with Sonu Nigam in future.

Sonu Nigam was recently singing Hindi in Hindi during an event at East Point Engineering College, Bengaluru. Meanwhile, a fan demanded him to sing Kannada. Sonu Nigam stopped the song in the middle on the fan’s demand for continuous Kannada singing and said, “This is the reason for events like Pahalgam. Please note who is standing in front of you. I love you guys.” This statement raised a ruckus and the sentiments of the Kannada community were hurt.

As the matter progressed, Sonu Nigam apologized through social media. He wrote, “Sorry Karnataka. My love for you is greater than my ego. Always love.”
