Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A software engineer was killed while his friend got injured in a road accident in the Kanadiya area late on Wednesday. They were returning from somewhere when their bike was hit by an unidentified vehicle.
According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Shaky Kunwar Singh, 20 years, a resident of Chhindwara. He was employed as a software engineer in a company and was residing in the area. He along with his friend Rahul had gone somewhere.
They were returning home when their bike was hit by an unidentified vehicle near Kanadiya under bridge around 12.30 am.
They were found injured on the road and someone informed the police. They were later rushed to the hospital but Shaky couldn’t be saved. Rahul has been critically injured in the accident. The police are recording his statement to know the circumstances under which the accident happened. Also, the CCTVs of the area are being examined to identify the vehicle.
Youth killed in road accident
A 25-year-old youth died after being hit by a bike in the Bargonda area, police said on Thursday.
According to the police, Krishna Jagdish, a resident of Sudama Nagar area of the city along with his friend Mukesh was going to Jamli village under Bargonda police station jurisdiction in Mhow when their bike was hit by another bike injuring them critically. Mukesh is injured in the accident and he is undergoing treatment in a city hospital.
