Minister’s importance

Two union ministers then made it clear that the state minister was still very important in national politics. The way a very powerful politician in the country waited for the minister at the state hangar was discussed everywhere. There were some exchanges between the central minister and the state minister. And its impact may soon be felt. A video of the two leaders set off a lot of speculations. In the video, the relationship between the state minister and the central minister was clear. Similarly, another central minister appreciated him. The union minister has even said that it was because of the state minister’s efforts that he had become the chief minister of the state for the first time. The state minister played an important role in forming the government for the first time in the state which the union minister represents.

All politicians of the ruling party are worried about how to increase their followers on social media after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s trip to the state. At a meeting with the MPs and MLAs, he wanted to know how many of them had one crore followers on social media. A pin-drop silence descended soon after the PM hurled that question at his party colleagues. There was hardly any leader who had one crore followers. Now, the politicians have begun to increase their followers. A minister is searching for an agency to handle his social media network and increase the number of followers. Similarly, another minister has met a social media expert to know how to increase followers. These leaders have realised that if they wish to remain in the good books of the central leaders, the number of their followers should be increased.
Weddings go viral
Wedding ceremonies in families of politicians in Madhya Pradesh have stirred up social media these days. After a video of the wedding ceremony of a central minister’s son recently went viral, a video of the marriage of an MLA’s son became popular among the netizens. The richest legislator in the state pressed a social media team into service to make his son’s wedding ceremony viral. The way he took the bridegroom’s party to the wedding venue was the talk of the town. A special AC train was booked. For the first time, a carpet was laid on the platform, and when the bridegroom’s party reached the station, its participants went from one part of the platform to another amid music and dance. The legislator also arranged for chartered planes for the special guests. Now, this royal wedding is discussed everywhere.
Rift widening
There are hardly any signs of narrowing the rift between the two Congress leaders. The chasm was apparent even when they took a holy dip at the Sangam in Prayagraj during the Mahakumbh. Both hold important positions in the state party unit and went to take a holy dip in the Sangam. Though both took a holy dip, they separately went to Prayagraj. One of them went there with a few legislators close to him, and the other was there with a few supporters. After these two leaders separately enjoyed bathing at the Sangam, their differences have again hogged the limelight; and some people are making speculations. Even the party’s new in-charge, who has also come to know of their relationship, has begun to sort out their bitterness, but a few politicians in the party are laughing off his efforts. They say that many in-charges came and tried to reduce the gulf between these two leaders. After some time, they returned to Delhi, but their efforts to reduce the chasm between these two leaders never saw any positive outcome.
In a dilemma
A few Congress leaders are hemming and hawing because of the party being out of power for a long time. Two former ministers of the party are also in a dilemma, and though they are on good terms, they are not getting importance in the party. Ergo they are planning to say goodbye to the Congress and join the BJP. There are reports that these two leaders have already met a senior leader of the BJP for their reported switching over to the ruling dispensation, but he told the duo to wait for an opportune time. Both of them are businessmen. For the Congress is out of power, they are not only incurring losses, but the officers are also ignoring them. As the Congress is hobbling in the state, both these leaders are also getting disenchanted with the party.
Party men’s ire
A senior Congress leader, also a former minister, has drawn fire from his own party men for commenting on a Baba from Bundelkhand. The Congress leader tore into Baba comparing him with a conman. A few Congress leaders, including two former chief ministers, also opened up about their colleague’s disparaging comments against the Baba. There are also a few leaders in the party who felt their colleague wanted to rise to fame by slamming him. But his efforts came to naught. When the Congress leader made such a remark, he had hardly any idea that he would draw fire from his own party men.
