Donald Trump on Ukraine and Russia War: President Trump blamed Ukraine for the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, saying that you should actually have solved it before 2022. Then this war would not have started.

Trump made this statement at a press conference held at his residence in Florida at a time when the talks between Russia and the US over the Ukraine war in Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh ended.

It is worth noting that Ukraine was not included in these talks. Angry Ukrainian President Zelansky said that the conclusion of the talks in which he was not included was unacceptable.

On receiving information about Zelansky’s attitude, President Trump said, “I heard this today.” Ah! We were not invited: but you have been there for three years. You could stop the war during those three years… Actually you did not need to start war. You should have compromised.

On this, reporters asked, “Are you going to meet Putin?” Then President Trump said, “Probably.”

Supporting Russia’s desire to end the war, Trump said, “Russia wants to do something (good).” He wants to end such barbarity there. Thousands of soldiers are killed every week. Apart from Ukrainian and Russian soldiers, Korean (North Korea) soldiers have also been killed. This is a fruitless war. It should not happen.

He further said that if I were President at that time, the war would not have started.

On the other hand, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that Ukraine would also be interacted. His wish will also be known. No one has been left here. We will also take our European partners in confidence.

Meanwhile, in a meeting held in Riyadh, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavarov said that it is meaningless to discuss the issue of desire to join NATO of Ukraine (at this level).
