The most successful and famous names of contemporary Indian snooker will enter the tournament proper of the Rs. 32 lakh prize money NSCI Baulkline 4.0 All India Snooker Tournament at the NSCI Dome from Wednesday.

Leading a strong 32-man field is the illustrious cueist, Pankaj Advani. The defending champion Pankaj is seeded No.1 and he is followed by the likes of Ishpreet Chadha, who is trying his luck in professional snooker, Aditya Mehta, Kamal Chawla, Sourav Kothari, S. Srikrishna, Kreishh Gurbaxani, the second Indian competing on the World Snooker Tour, and many other talented players. Advani will take on the gifted Sparsh Pherwani in the round of 32.

Sixteen players have made the qualifying cut and all of them will be pitching their skills against some champion performers.

The first knockout round of the tournament is set to nine frames which will give opportunities for the seasoned campaigners and those inclined to challenge the big names, an equal chance.
