Haridwar, 09 December (HS). Small traders demonstrated at the office of Haridwar Roorkee Development Authority and Municipal Commissioner Varun Chaudhary on Monday demanding inclusion in the Haridwar Smart Corridor Scheme and calling a meeting of the ferry committee.

On this occasion, Provincial President of Small Business Association, Sanjay Chopra said that in the Haridwar Smart Corridor Scheme, small traders of ready tracks should be given a separate place and should be arranged and established as vending zones as per the rules of Uttarakhand Urban Ferry Policy Manual. He said that if the Municipal Corporation Administration does not call the meeting of the Ferry Committee by December 15, then after December 15 the small traders will protest at the Secretariat in Dehradun.

District President Rajkumar said that the Ferry Committee meeting is not being organized by the Municipal Corporation Administration for the last one year. Which is a gross violation of the urban ferry policy rules of the Uttarakhand government. He said that all small traders registered in the Municipal Corporation should be included in the Haridwar Corridor Scheme.

Those who performed included Manish Sharma, Omprakash Bhatia, Mohanlal, Sachin Rajput, Jai Bhagwan, Ranveer Singh, Dharampal Kashyap, Lalchand, Vijay Gupta, Bhola Yadav, Sunil Kukreti, Phool Singh, Chandan Rawat, Virendra Kumar, Nitish Aggarwal, Kapil Kumar, Kundan Kashyap, Sumit, Subodh Gupta, Shubham Saini, Taslim, Azam, Naeem Salmani, Yamin Akram, Pawan, Small traders like Mukesh, Namrata Sarkar, Poonam Makhan, Ritu Agnihotri, Manju Pal, Sunita Chauhan, Seema Devi, Madhu, Renu, Pushpa Das etc. were prominently involved.
