Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Abrar, the sixth accused in rape and blackmailing of multiple female students of a private college love jihad case
bhopal is still at large despite all efforts made by Bhopal police to trace and arrest him. Police have declared a reward of Rs 20,000 for information leading to the arrest of Abrar, a native of Bihar. Police had traced his location to Kolkata after an FIR was registered against him. Police teams carried out searches in Kolkata and Bihar but Abrar managed to dodge them.
So far police have arrested prime accused Farhan Khan and five others – Sahil Khan, Ali, Saad and Nabeel. One of the accused Hamid Raza of Bihar had committed suicide.
Abrar and Nabeel, both were close to Farhan and used to provide their rented accommodation at Ashoka Garden for sexual exploitation of the college girls.
Police officials said that Abrar belongs to Bihar and shared a room with Nabeel.
Farhan during questioning had revealed that he used Abrar’s room in Ashoka Garden area for sexual exploitation of the girls. Abrar studied at the same college where the other accused studied and was friends with Farhan. After completing his studies, Abrar returned to Bihar.
However, police officials said that teams are continuously on the trail of Abrar and he may soon be arrested.
