Islamabad: An important update has come to light from Sindh province of Pakistan. It is reported that the protesters vandalized the residence of Sindh province Home Minister Ziaul Hasan Lanjar and set fire to fire. The protesters set fire to house rooms, furniture and threw the outer part of the air conditioner from the roof. However, sabotage was stopped after additional private security guards arrived. At present, there is a tense atmosphere in the entire area and official sources say the situation is still under control.
According to the information received, major violence erupted on the national highway in Moro taluka of Sindh province on Tuesday. There was a violent clash between police and some activists of the nationalist organization. At least two protesters were killed in the clash, while several activists from both sides were seriously injured and policemen were also injured. The protesters took to the streets against six canals and corporate agricultural projects in Sindh province. During the protest, the police are accused of using force to prevent protesters from stopping on the national highway. Angry protesters then looted some trucks on the road and set three vehicles on fire, including an oil tanker.
Videos of violence have gone viral on social media. In some videos, armed security guards are seen firing bullets in the air. Black smoke rising from Lanjar’s house could be seen for several kilometers. The protesters looted a trailer truck filled with urea and threw the sacks down and set the vehicle on fire. Traffic on the highway was interrupted for hours due to protests. Nationalist organizations have alleged that two activists Irfan Laghari and Zahid Laghari died in police firing. At least three policemen were injured in this clash. It is reported that a seriously injured police officer was taken out of the hospital.
Meanwhile, it is also alleged that some protesters entered the manager’s office and looted cash. In the video that went viral on social media, the protesters are seen attacking the police with sticks and abusing them, while the police are staining air firing and tear gas shells. Additional police force was called from Nawabshah and Sukkur to bring the situation under control. Meanwhile, leaders of several nationalist parties have strongly condemned the police action. He said in a statement that peaceful opposition was deliberately turned violently and accused the state government of using police in support of anti -farmer projects.

He was born on 28 July 1974 in Nawabshah, Sindh. He has obtained a postgraduate degree in art, law and jurisdiction from Sindh University. In March 2016, he was elected a member of the Sindh Provincial Legislative Assembly from PS-23 (Naushero Feroz-V) constituency. The current Sindh government headed by Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah is handling the responsibility of Lanjar Home, Law and Parliamentary Affairs Departments. He has served in various important positions during his career.
