Mumbai: A shocking case of murder at an SRA project site in Kamble Nagar, Worli has come to light, where a site supervisor was brutally stabbed multiple times. The victim has been identified as Mohammad Shabbir Abbas Khan (38). The Worli Police have arrested three accused, including a minor, in connection with the crime.

The accused identified as Sudhanshu Kamble (19), Sahil Marathi (18) and One minor held by Worli police within 3 hours.

The two adult accused will be produced in a regular court, while the minor will be presented before the Juvenile Justice Board said Worli Police Station Senior Police Inspector Ravindra Katkar.

According to preliminary investigations, the victim, Khan, had allegedly fired Sudhanshu Kamble’s uncle, Vinod Kamble, from his job two days prior and denied him his wages. Angered by this, Sudhanshu, along with two accomplices, attacked Khan with a knife, stabbing him 4-5 times, resulting in his death.

This incident took place on March 5-6, between 12:30 AM and 1:00 AM at Kamble Nagar, Worli SRA Project Site. Two days before the murder, Khan and Vinod Kamble had an argument, leading to Vinod’s termination without payment. Sudhanshu, who worked at the same site, learned about it and decided to take revenge. On the night of the incident, he, along with his two friends, reached the site and stabbed the supervisor multiple times in a fit of rage.

The victim was rushed to a hospital, where he was declared dead by doctors. Speaking about the case, Senior Police Inspector Ravindra Katkar confirmed that the three accused were arrested immediately after the incident. Further investigation is underway.
