The festival of Sita Navami is celebrated with reverence and devotion. Following is the method of worship:

Bathing and Cleanliness:
Wake up early in the morning and take a bath and clean the house thoroughly. -
Preparation of the place of worship:
Clean the place of worship and spray Ganga water. -
Pavilion Establishment:
Make a beautiful pavilion at the place of worship. Install the idol of Lord Shri Ram and Mother Sita in this pavilion. -
Kalash Establishment and Resolution:
Pledge to duly worship and fast by installing an urn in front of idols. -
Duly worship:
Worship Shri Ram and Mother Sita with Shodashopachar (16 materials). Offer fruits, flowers, sweets etc. -
Mantra Chanting:
Chant these mantras during worship:-
“Shri Sitayai Namah”
