Singer-songwriter Dua Lipa had a harrowing experience in Chile after a bunch of her fans breached her security, entered her private hotel room and clicked her photos. The singer was staying at a hotel in Santiago, Chile, when the incident happened.
The singer was reportedly staying at the luxurious five-star hotel Ritz-Carlton in Santiago. According to reports, the fans managed to access the hotel Dua was staying in and snuck into her room too. They reportedly hid and waited near the lift to get close to the singer and click her photos.
“Things were manic as she touched down with fans desperate to see her. A group of fans gained access not only to her hotel floor but some were found outside her room. Security ended up doing an extra sweep and there were more fans waiting at her lift. Dua said she would not take pictures inside her hotel,” The Sun quoted a source.
While Dua was not harmed, she is reportedly shaken by the incident and her security is now being reevaluated.
This is not the first time that a fan has breached Dua’s security to meet her. In June 2024, ahead of Dua’s performance at the Glastonbury music festival, a fan reportedly entered the rehearsal studio and captured the singer on his phone and also shared it on social media.
Meanwhile, Dua performed in Mumbai, India, on November 30, and one of the highlights of her concert was her performance on the fan-made mashup of Levitating and Shah Rukh Khan’s Woh Ladki.
She sent desi fans into a tizzy as she was also seen aping SRK’s steps from the song during the concert.
