On Wednesday evening, we got the sad news that Punjabi singer and former MP of BJP, Hans Raj Hans’ wife, Reshma Hans, passed away at the age of 62. The singer’s wife took her last breath on April 2, 2025, after prolonged illness. Reportedly, she was battling heart-related issues.
According to a report in PTC, Reshma was admitted to Tagore Hospital in Jalandhar a few days ago, where she underwent a stent procedure. However, her health didn’t approve and he passed away on Wednesday afternoon. Reportedly, the couple’s wedding anniversary will be coming on April 18. So, the singer sadly lost his wife just 16 days before the anniversary.
Reshma’s brother, Paramjit Singh told the portal that she was in the hospital for the past five days. Her last rites will be performed on Thursday at 11 am in Hans Raj Hans’ ancestral village, Shafipur.
Till now, the family has not shared any official statement.
The singer and his wife have two sons, Navraj Hans and Yuvraaj Hans. Both of them are singers.
