Material:
- 250 grams sesame seeds
- 250 grams jaggery
- 2 tbsp cashew nuts
- 2 tbsp almonds
- 7 to 8 ground small cardamoms
- 2 tsp ghee
Method of preparation:
- First of all, heat a heavy bottomed pan, add thoroughly cleaned sesame seeds and fry on medium flame while stirring continuously till they turn light brown.
- Take out the roasted sesame seeds in a plate and let it cool slightly. After this, lightly crush half the sesame seeds and mix the whole and crushed sesame seeds together.
- Now heat one spoon of ghee in the pan and let the jaggery melt on low flame. As soon as the jaggery melts, turn off the flame.
- When the jaggery cools down slightly, mix roasted and crushed sesame seeds in it well. Now add cashews, almonds and cardamom powder and mix well.
- Your mixture for making laddus is ready. Take it out from the pan in a plate and let it cool.
- Apply ghee to your hands and grease them and then take about a tablespoon of the laddu mixture and make round laddus.
- Your delicious sesame-jaggery laddus are ready! Leave them to set in open air for 4-5 hours.
