Salman Khan is gearing up for the release of Sikandar which is slated to hit the big screens on March 30, 2025. On Wednesday, the actor had a group interaction with the media, and spoke about many things like his film with Atlee being shelved, announcing his movie with Sanjay Dutt, why he can’t work with Ananya Panday, Janhvi Kapoor, and a lot more. The actor also spoke about the death threats that he is getting from Lawrence Bishnoi.
While talking about it, he told the media, “Bhagwan, Allah sab unpar hai. Jitni umar likhi hai, utni likhi hai. Bas yahi hai. Kabhi kabhi itne logon ko saath mein leke chalna padta hai, bas wohi problem ho jaati hai.”
In April 2024, two people on a bike did firing outside Salman Khan’s house in Bandra, Mumbai. Later, it was revealed that the shooters were hired by Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang. Due to death threats the superstar has been given Y+ security and he is always accompanied by a lot of bodyguards.
However, despite the death threats, the actor has been working round the clock. From Bigg Boss to movies, these death threats have not affected his professional life.
Sikandar Advance Booking
Talking about Sikandar, the movie, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Kajal Aggarwal, is expected to take a bumper opening at the box office. The advance booking is decent, and it is expected to grow in the coming days. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the trailer and the songs have created a good pre-release buzz.
Salman Khan’s fans will be getting to watch him on Eid after a gap of two years. Last year, he had no release on the festival. His film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan was released on Eid 2023, but it had failed to make a strong mark at the box office. The actor’s fans have a lot of expectations from Sikandar.
