Actor Siddharth has found himself in hot water following his remarks about fans of Pushpa 2: The Rule star Allu Arjun. A video circulating on social media shows Siddharth comparing the massive turnout at Pushpa 2 trailer launch event in Patna to the kind of crowd that gathers to watch a JCB digging site.
In a recent interview, Siddharth further stirred controversy by claiming that many attendees of the event were not true fans of Allu Arjun. According to him, they were drawn to the gathering merely for free food and drinks, rather than genuine love and admiration for the actor or the film.
“In our country, even a JCB digging site attracts a crowd. So, people gathering to see Allu Arjun in Bihar is not something extraordinary. If they organise, crowds will be there. In India, crowds don’t mean quality, if that is true all political parties must win, it’s for Biryani packet and Quarter bottle,” Siddharth reportedly said.

The video of Siddharth’s comments sparked a mixed reaction on social media. While some users sided with him, agreeing with his take, others criticised him.
An X user commented, “I think this statement is also promotional strategy for his movie releasing this week.” Another user reminded netizens that the actor had once said that the box office collection of Pushpa: The Rise was ‘fake’.
“Nobody knows Sidharth in North… jealousy speaking,” wrote another user.
An angry user wrote, “Such disrespect is unacceptable from a fellow industry member.”
“What RUBBISH is he talking about? I think, around 2 lakhs people gathered for the #Pushpa2 event in Patna. They all wanted to see the star #AlluArjun ⭐ I think nobody recognises him in public nowadays. That’s why he is fuming,” read another comment by a fan.
