Preview:
It will be a clash of the heavyweights at the Wankhede Stadium on April 6, Tuesday as the Mumbai Indians face the Gujarat Titans, with both sides hoping to solidify their playoff spots in IPL 2025. Both Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans are coming off convincing wins in their last match and will be looking to keep that momentum going.
Although Mumbai Indians began their IPL 2025 campaign with successive defeats, they are looking like the team to beat on current form. By dismantling the Rajasthan Royals at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Mumbai Indians had registered their sixth victory on the bounce. They are high on confidence and it’s hard to see them missing out on a playoff spot.
The Titans have arguably one of the most consistent sides in the tournament. Although Shubman Gill’s men got flattened by the Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur, they bounced back well to methodically dismantle the SunRisers Hyderabad in Ahmedabad. The Titans’ top three is their strongest component and will give headache to the Mumbai Indians.
