The beginning of a spiritual journey secretly

“I was not allowed near the gate to cycle, but I used to hear the church and temple bells every morning. I wondered where to go first. The temple was far from my house, so I used to go to church once a week. The family members did not even know for several months.”

First temple experience with grandpa

Faith in God: Source of Courage

When Shruti was asked from where she gets the most courage in life, she replied,
“My faith in God is my greatest strength. I have trusted in the power of God, and that trust has carried me through many things in life.”

Unique relationship between religion and spirituality

Shruti said that her spirituality became stronger because she was prevented from doing it in her childhood. He said,
“What happens with children is that whatever you stop them from, they start taking interest in the same. That’s what happened to religion for me.”
