Actress Shruthi Narayanan, known for her role in a Tamil show, is making headlines after an alleged casting couch sex video of her leaked on social media. The video is also being widely circulated. On Thursday (March 27), she shared her first post on Instagram amid the controversy. However, she disabled the comments section of her post.
Several media reports have claimed that the video is from a private audition. A woman is seen topless in the video but soon after the videos surfaced, netizens pointed out that the clip looks fake and claimed that it could be an AI-generated deepfake video.
The authenticity of the viral video remains unverified.
Shruthi Narayanan reacts
On Monday, Shruthi posted a reel on her Instagram story which shows how to make a clone by using AI (Artificial Intelligence). She did not write anything along with the video.
A couple of house back, the actress shared another post which featured her photos in a white and gold saree. She chose to leave the post without a caption and disabled the comments on it.
For the unawares, Shruthi temporarily set her Instagram account to private, restricting access to just 40,000 approved followers. However, she has now made it public.
Who is Shruthi Narayanan?
The actress is best known for playing the role of Vidhya in the popular Tamil TV series Siragadikka Aasai. The show airs on Star Vijay and streams on JioHotstar. The show, which premiered in January 2023, features Vetri Vasanth in the lead alongside Gomathi Priya.
Shruthi is quite active on Instagram and she often shares her stunning photos and video. The bio of her official account read, “By Grace, through Faith 🧿✨️”
