The opening ceremony of the Indian Premier League 2025 has kicked off with a bang at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Singer Shreya Ghoshal opened the event with a mesmerising performance on her hit tracks. Dressed in a stunning shimmery purple outfit, she began her act with Ami Je Tomar, captivating the audience.
Later, she performed Ghoomar, Rang De Basanti, Kar Har Maidaan Fateh, and Angaaron, among others.

Shah Rukh Khan, the co-owner of KKR, greeted the fully-packed Eden Gardens crowd as he kicked off the 18th season of IPL. Adding to the excitement, he delivered his iconic line from Pathaan, “Pathaan ke ghar pe party…,” sending the Eden Gardens crowd into a frenzy.
