Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A man in Gwalior staged a protest at a busy intersection, claiming his life was in danger due to his wife. Holding a placard that read, “CM Sir, punish my wife,” the man, identified as Amit Kumar Sen, accused his wife of betrayal and of conspiring in the murder of their elder son. He also expressed fears that she might have him killed as well.

Janakganj Police Station in-charge Vipendra Singh Chauhan stated that no complaint regarding this matter had been received so far. However, if a complaint had been filed earlier, it would be investigated, and legal action would be taken accordingly.

According to information, Amit, a resident of Janakpuri, alleged that his wife has multiple lovers and is currently living in a live-in relationship with a man named Rahul Batham. He claimed that his wife and her lover were responsible for the death of their elder son, Harsh, and that she had taken their younger son with her. Citing recent cases in the country where wives, along with their lovers, orchestrated their husbands’ murders, Amit said he feared meeting a similar fate, especially as his wife’s partner had been issuing death threats.

Despite filing multiple complaints with the police, Amit claimed no action had been taken. Left with no other option, he sat in protest under a poster of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav at Phoolbagh Square, demanding justice and security.
