Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan held road-shows and public meetings in five assembly constituencies of Jharkhand on the last day of Jharkhand Assembly election campaign. Chauhan held a road-show in support of BJP candidate Navneet Hembram in Maheshpur Assembly of Jharkhand and Biranchi Narayan, candidate from Bokaro Assembly. On this issue, he said that Hemant Soren is the Chief Minister for just five more days.
Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that Hemant Soren is the crown jewel of corruption and scams. Soren did not do any development work in his own assembly constituency Barhet. Addressing the people of Barhet assembly, Shivraj said that for the last many years, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has been electing MLAs from this area but he has not made any arrangement for irrigation here.

Today the situation in Santhal Pargana is such that the tribal population there has reduced from 40 percent to 28 percent. If we do not remain alert even today, the entire Jharkhand will be captured by Bangladeshis.
Chauhan said that, five years ago, Hemant Soren had promised the sisters that they would be given Rs 2,000 every month for the expenses of the stove. Did not remember the sisters for 4 years and 10 months and made a new plan two months before the elections and deposited Rs 1,000 each in the sisters’ accounts in the greed for votes. According to Hemant Soren’s promise, if the sisters were given Rs 2,000 every month, it would be Rs 24,000 for one year and Rs 1,20,000 for five years, but JMM gave only Rs 2,000.
Chauhan said that the Jharkhand government has also cheated the youth. Hemant Soren had promised to provide 5 lakh government jobs and unemployment allowance of Rs 5 to 7 thousand to the youth, but neither job nor unemployment allowance was given. The youth of Jharkhand are wandering from door to door for jobs. Two months before the elections, Hemant Soren made the youth run in the scorching heat in the name of police constable recruitment, so much so that 19 children had to lose their lives. The mother was waiting at home for her son to return home wearing a soldier’s uniform, but the son returned wearing a shroud.
Chauhan said that the coalition government of JMM, Congress and RJD has looted Jharkhand and made it hollow. He did not spare anything like water, forests or minerals. The situation is such that mountains of currency notes are being recovered from the houses of their leaders and ministers. This money is not of Hemant Soren but of the hard-earned money of the people of Jharkhand. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had sent thousands of crores of rupees to provide tap water to every house by laying pipelines here, but Soren and his close ones also ate the money of Jal Jeevan Mission. There were no taps in any village or house.
