In a thrilling display of power-hitting, Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) Shivam Dube smashed a six and a four against Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s (RCB) Suyash Sharma in the Indian Premier League (IPL) match at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on March 28, 2025.

The incident occurred in the 10th over of the CSK innings, when Suyash Sharma was introduced into the attack. The 31 year old unleashed his fury on the RCB bowler. The second ball of the over was dispatched for a six over the long-off boundary, followed by a four through the deep mid wicket region.

Shivam Dube’s destructive hitting against Suyash Sharma was a glimpse of his potential as a hard-hitting batsman. The CSK all-rounder is looking to find good form this season, but his ability to hit big shots has been a valuable asset to the team.

IPL 2025: Royal Challengers Bengaluru are on top against Chennai Super Kings

Chennai Super Kings skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad has opted to bowl first in the crucial game against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on 28th March 2025.

Noor Ahmad was the star for Chennai Super Kings with the ball. Ahmad had an impressive bowling figures of 3/36 which helped CSK in restricting the Royal Challengers Bengaluru team to a total of 196/7. Rajat Patidar top-scored for the RCB with 51, leaving the Super Kings 197 to chase.

Currently, Chennai Super Kings are 101/7 at the end of 16 overs with MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja in the middle.
