Noida: The Noida police, on Thursday, April 3, arrested a man who was seen performing dangerous stunts in an autorickshaw on the Noida Expressway. As per reports, the police have recovered the vehicle used in the stun; however, two other suspects are still on the run.
The entire incident was captured in a video, which later went viral on social media and met with heavy backlash. The 20-second clip showed two shirtless men recklessly performing stunts on the roof of a pink autorickshaw. While one man was seen dancing atop the roof, the other was hanging off the side of the vehicle. Meanwhile, the driver of the auto appeared to be enjoying the moment, playing loud music as the vehicle sped down the Expressway.

According to a report by The Navbharat Times, the video was recorded by a passenger, who was travelling in a car following the auto.
The Noida Traffic Police took immediate action upon the accused after the video went viral. In response to the incident, the police have issued a fine of Rs 33,500 to the auto driver for performing dangerous stunts and violating traffic guidelines.
Sector-142 SI Vinod Kumar Mishra told Navbharat Times that the incident took place late on March 31, when the auto driver, along with two other companions, was heading home from Kalka Mandir in Delhi. One of the accused was identified and arrested with the help of a nearby CCTV footage and surveillance camera.
The search for the absconding suspects is still underway.
