Popular television actress Chaahat Pandey, who is currently seen in Bigg Boss 18, is making headlines because of her relationship with a mystery man. While she has maintained that she is single, her BB18 co-contestant Avinash Mishra and the show’s host Salman Khan made shocking revelations about her ‘secret boyfriend’ during the recent episodes. A couple of days back, self-proclaimed film critic and actor Kamaal R Khan (KRK) shared a loved-up picture of the actress with TV actor Manas Shah and claimed that they are dating each other.
However, Manas has now clarified that he is single and said he is not Chaahat’s ‘mystery man’.
In an interview with ETimes, Manas said, “Just because a picture of Chaahat and me posing with each other has gone viral, it does not mean that I am her mystery man. Chahat is a co-actor and a friend but we don’t even keep in touch often. We are hardly in touch. I have no romantic connection with Chaahat at all and people have just started these rumours without checking facts.”
The actor further stated that he is hoping to settle down in an arranged marriage. “I do not have a girlfriend. It is sad how people assume that I am the boyfriend. The last time I voiced my concerns was during the show Hamari Bahu Silk when I wanted the system of 90-day payment structure for TV actors to be revised. I am surprised how I am now suddenly linked with Chaahat,” he added.
Who is Manas Shah?
Manas is currently seen in the show Ye Hai Chahatein. He has been a part of other shows like Hamari Devrani, Spy Bahu, Hamari Bahu Silk, Wagle Ki Duniya – Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey, and more.
He is 33 years old. His hometown is Ahmedabad.
The actor has also been a part of several Gujarati films. He has over 1.1 million followers on Instagram.
Chaahat’s mother’s open challenge
It may be mentioned that Chaahat’s mother, who had entered the Bigg Boss 18 house, gave an open challenge to the makers of the show to produce a picture of the actress’ boyfriend to support the claims.
“Agar makers Chahat ke boyfriend ka naam ya uska picture dhund ke lekar aate hai toh mein unhe 21 lakh prize money as cash dungi,” she said.
She stated that the actress is single and would never go against her family’s wishes to get married. She also criticised Avinash for suggesting that the actress had a boyfriend, calling him a ‘womaniser’ on national television.
Later, host Salman Khan showed a picture of Chaahat celebrating her ‘5th anniversary’ and hinted that she does have a boyfriend.
During one of the episodes of Bigg Boss 18, Avinash told the other housemates that Chaahat would regularly receive gifts from her boyfriend on the sets of their shows, Durga and Nath. Later, Salman also hinted that the actress was dating a Gujarati businessman.
