Sheikh Hasina was born on September 28, 1947 at 11 am, at Tungipara in East Bengal. Her authoritarian regime ended in self-imposed exile following an uprising in 2024.
Except for her husband, children and sister Sheikh Rehana, Hasina’s entire family was murdered during the 15 August 1975 Bangladeshi coup d’état which saw the assassination of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. After she was elected President of the Bangladesh Awami League on 16 February 1981, Hasina returned home on 17 May 1981 and received a welcome from thousands of Awami League supporters.
Her year of birth is often taken as 1946 by some astrologers. I have considered it as 1947 and matched it with the above details.
The Ascendant rising is Scorpio at 12.48 degrees and its Ascendant lord Mars is in the sign Cancer and it is debilitated. The dasa when her family was murdered on August 15, 1975 its was Saturn/Venus/Sun. From the 9th house, which signifies father, the dasa lord Saturn is the 7th (maraca) and 8th lord (longevity, death, etc). The event signifier Sun was with birth Saturn in Cancer on the day of death. Hasina along with the relatives were visiting Europe at the time of the assassination. They took refuge in the house of the Bangladeshi ambassador to West Germany; before taking up an offer of political asylum from Prime Minister Indira Gandhi of India.
Sheikh Hasina was forced to flee from Bangladesh after resignation on August 5, 2024. The dasa at this time was Venus/Saturn/Mercury. Here again it is Saturn at the 2nd level of dasa. The event signifier Sun was in transit in the sign Cancer on the birth Saturn.
Now, she is in India with political asylum. Now the dasa running is of Venus/Saturn/Venus till September 2025.
In her birth chart, Saturn is aspecting Sun (the signifier of 10th house of power in the 11t house). Saturn is the 4th house lord (signifying current residence) and 3rd house lord (signifying going away from the current residence).
Post March 29, 2025, the Saturn will transit Pisces and connect with transit Sun in Pisces till April 14, 2025. During this period, from April 3, 2025 till June 7, 2025, the transit Mars, which is in the 10th house of Bangladesh Independence chart, the current establishment of Muhammad Yunus will face backlash from his own people. This will be the trigger for Sheikh Hasina to prepare for her to go back to Bangladesh.
Later as per Sheikh Hasina chart, the transit Saturn will aspect the transit Sun in Taurus from May 15, 2025 to June 14, 2025. This is another period when she is likely to return to Bangladesh.
Further, when transit Sun transits the sign Cancer over the natal Saturn from July 16, 2025 to August 16, 2025, she is likely to go back to Bangladesh. So, to conclude, her return is likely March 29, 2025 to April 14, 2025, from May 15, 2025 to June 14, 2025 and between July 16, 2025 to August 16, 2025.
