The stock market started on Thursday. At 9.30 am, the Sensex opened red and the Nifty opened on the green mark. The Sensex opened at 76.476.43 below 56.53 points while the Nifty opened with a slight gain of 7.15 points at 23,170.25.
Struggle of stock market
The domestic stock market opened in red mark on Thursday (30 January) amidst mixed signals from global markets. In early trade, the major benchmark Sensex fell 100 points while the Nifty was almost flat at 23,151. Tata Motors shares declined by 8 percent after the December quarter results were less than expected. The decline in these legendary auto shares also affected the market.
