The moment occurred during the 42nd over on the 5th ball, bowled by Shams Mulani. Paras misjudged the delivery, sending the ball high into the air, Shardul sprinted backwards and made a brilliant diving effort to grab the catch. His athleticism and determination were on full display, and he celebrated with great enthusiasm after dismissing the skipper.
Jammu & Kashmir beat Mumbai by 5 wickets
After restricting Mumbai on 290, Jammu & Kashmir need 205 runs for victory. Opener Shubham Khajuria played a solid knock of 45 runs, while Vivrant Sharma contributed a steady 38 from the top order.
Skipper Paras Dogra scored 15 runs. Abid Mushtaq sealed the victory with a powerful six and remained unbeaten on 32 runs, while Kanhaiya Wadhawan remained not out on 15
Mumbai’s Shams Mulani was the standout bowler, taking 4 wickets with a brilliant performance. Mohit Awasthi also chipped in with a wicket. However, the efforts of the bowlers were not enough to turn the table into Mumbai’s favor. Jammu & Kashmir registered a historic victory over Mumbai by 5 wickets.
