Selection of Mohammed Shami in Team India: Mohammed Shami is out of Team India since the World Cup 2023 final. He did not get a chance to play in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. But Shami can now join the team again. Seeing the excellent bowling of Mohammed Shami even before the team selection for the Champions Trophy and England ODI series, fans are speculating that Shami will play for Team India in the upcoming series.

Mohammed Shami is currently playing in Vijay Hazare Trophy. The fast bowler took 3 wickets in the match against Haryana. Taking three wickets for 61 runs in 10 overs, he looks ready to play for Team India.

Later, Shami dismissed wicketkeeper Dinesh Bana for 15 runs in the middle overs and also took the wicket of Anshul Kamboj. Apart from Shami, fast bowler Mukesh Kumar took two wickets. Haryana team scored a total of 298 runs in 50 overs.

Shami had a knee operation last year. That’s why he remained out of the field for a long time. Recently he played Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. In which he performed excellently. And now Vijay Hazare is bowling in the series also, making the batsmen happy.

The team will be selected on January 11

Team India will be selected for England T20, ODI series and Champions Trophy on January 11. In which Shami may get a chance. Bumrah can be exempted from this trophy. Bumrah was injured in the Sydney Test match. In such a situation, Shami can lead the bowling unit of Team India. Shami has also had excellent performance in ICC tournaments. A total of 55 wickets were taken in 18 ODI matches played in the ICC tournament.
