Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Two men were arrested in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore division for allegedly indulging in unnatural sex with cows in two separate incidents. A youth was caught on charges of bestiality in Indore while a 35-year-old man was arrested and paraded in Mandsaur for the unnatural act. The disturbing visuals of the incident went viral on social media, drawing flak from netizens.
Case 1
According to information, the recent case was reported under Afzalpur police station limits in Mandsaur district on Tuesday. Here, a 35-year-old Brahmin was arrested for the obscene act.
The accused was identified as Dwarkapuri Goswami, who went into the cowshed of his uncle and indulged in unnatural sex with a cow.
A local resident noticed him committing the crime and made a video, which went viral on social media.
The incident outraged the residents. Later, to pacify them, Afzalpur police station in-charge Samarth Sinam paraded accused Goswami throughout the locality to publicly shame him on Tuesday.
Although publicly parading an accused is prohibited.
Case 2
First such case was reported in Indore just 24 hours before the Mandsaur incident. It came to light after a CCTV footage of the shameful act went viral on social media.
Police registered a case and launched a search soon after coming across the video and nabbed the fugitive on April 7.
The accused was identified as Vijay Ahirwar, who works as a labourer at a factory in Indore. At present, he is under arrest.
Speaking to the media, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) Rajesh Dandotia informed, “Accused has been booked under Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960. He is accused of inflicting, causing, or permitting unnecessary pain or suffering to an animal, which is a criminal offense under Indian law.”
